Without being too complex, this article provides a basic idea to search engine optimization. This guide is divided into steps that must be completed for good ranking on search engines. This article only describes the on-page factors that can boost your search engine rankings.
Step 1: Websites
The first step to it instead of a website. I will assume that you already have a website setup, domain, sorted, graded and accommodation to complete the design. If you have any “under construction” pages that do not have a complete website. You must have a website fully functional before implementing search engine optimization. You’re wasting your time if you do not.
Step 2: Analysis of Keyword
For each page of your website you should investigate your keywords. How do you know which keywords to use for your website? You probably want to use keywords that users are actively looking but do not have too much competition. The best way to research the keywords using Google’s keyword research tool to establish a keyword or phrase has a good number of searches per month. Once you have some keywords that have a high number of searches per month go to the search engine Google and enter into the search box “allintitle: your keyword ‘(obviously, replace your search with the keyword that is investigation). This search query will tell you how many sites have chosen the key word in the title of the website.
Why “allintitle”? Some websites may mention a particular keyword, but it may be written on or around that specific keyword. If a website has a particular keyword in your page title, it is likely that the page is too centered on that keyword.
So you have a list of keywords, but how many users are looking for key words each month and how many websites are adding to that keyword. Which keyword you go for?
Using the index of demand response is an effective way of determining whether a keyword is worth competing for. The ratio of demand response consists of two values: A = the number of hits for a particular keyword (number of sites in the competition) and S = Number of user searching for the keyword of each month.
To calculate the rate of demand response and are divided by RS, R / S = index of demand response. In general, the smaller the number, the less competition. relationship satisfaction of demand is a very useful time-saving calculations to determine a good keyword.
Step 3: Title and Meta tag
Optimize your web pages META tags. The three most important meta tags that we focus on are: title, keywords and description.
Your title tag should contain the keyword you are using for the website and must be ordered first label on the page. Your home page or index page should contain the main keyword and each page of your website should contain the keywords then the site-specific secondary. Your title tag should contain no more than 90 characters.
The label must contain the keywords of no more than three keywords of your business. Do not overload the META tag with too many keywords. For each page of your site using the keywords you have researched for that specific page.
Finally, the description tag is what will appear in search engines results page. The description has to attract people to click on their website while also describing what the page in question. Most search engines will only show the first 150 characters of the description tag.
Step 4: Heading and Main Titles
Be sure to keep clear logical ie labels H1, H2, H3 etc. Ensure the main keyword for each page appears in the header H1.
Step 5: Content Of Webpage
The body of your web site must have a minimum of 200 words. Make sure there is about 2% keyword density. So for every 100 words on your website your keyword on the main page should be displayed twice.
Step 6: Optimize Image with ALT Tag
All images on a Web page should contain alt tags. Each alt tag should accurately describe your image, in case the user of the website can not view the picture (which might have pictures of people with disabilities, or image can not be found). Alt tags are also a great way to increase keyword density. Place the main keywords for that page in the alt tags as possible. But remember, always make sure the alt tags make sense for your users and not put alt tags with keywords.
Step 7: Web page updation
Search engines thrive on fresh content, new and unique. If your site is updated regularly (at least three times a week) and has a content that can not be found anywhere else on the Internet, will be rewarded with search engine rankings very good.
But you must research all your keywords before the foundation of a page in any keyword. Make sure there is a sufficient number of users who search by keyword each month and crucially that competition exists quite low. Use rate of demand response (R / S) to set the keywords that users are actively looking and will bring in targeted traffic without much competition.
